THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING A
UNIFORM
Is this the first time you're buying a uniform? Don't worry -
below you will find a helpful guide of what to take into consideration when purchasing a uniform for your
establishment.
Design
Will this outfit look good on several body
types?
Will this design stand out as a
staff uniform as opposed to a patron’s outfit?
Will this be worn indoors or outdoor? Will it be worn day into
night or just at night? Nighttime outfits can be more dramatic.
Does the temperature change? If it goes from hot to cold you may
have to consider a matching jacket or sweater.
Functionability
Will the fabric stand up to continuous wash and wear? Does
the garment have to be dry cleaned or can it be washed by machine? Does the fabric shrink or fade? Does
the design facilitate ease of mobility? Does the uniform stay in place or give needed
support?
We try as much as possible to add smart details such as miniskirts with attached shorts that are
not visible- tops and dresses which have built in bra support- fabric which incorporates nano technology to
resist wrinkles and spills.
Quantity
How do I estimate the number of pieces I will
need? Each employee should have two or three uniforms. You will also have to
account for the number of anticipated new hires for the coming season. Here's an example for a bar with 12
girls:
Current employees 12 x 3 = 36
Estimated new hires 3 x 3 = 9
Total
order
45
* If uniform is in a lighter color it's a good idea to order extra. They
will usually get dirty faster.
Sizing
Most of our uniforms are made in XSmall, Small, Medium and Large. Though it's impossible for us to tell
you what sizes you need, most of our clients order in a ratio
of 1-2-2-1, meaning 1 xsmall and large for every two small and
medium.
